I have been in the dental industry for almost 20 years. I have been a dental hygienist for over 12 years practising in private practice, educating so many patients and forming many wonderful friendships.

My own personal experiences with chronic mouth breathing, sleep issues, jaw pain, teeth grinding, as well as seeing my own child develop poor myofunctional habits, led me on a journey towards studying Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy. I wanted to understand the 'why' and the 'root' causes of dental disorders. I become interested in diet, sleep, breathing, growth and function. I have a passion for self education and professional development. I will never stopped learning. 

I left clinical hygiene to start my own business, Airway Focused Myofunctional Therapy & Pre-Orthodontics. I will encourage and educate patients and parents to identify orofacial myofunctional disorders in their families so they grow to their maximum potential, the natural way, through correct function.

It would be my pleasure to help you and your family to breathe better, enjoy quality restful sleep, grow more functional and thrive in life. Prevention and better than cure! 

Outside of clinical practice, I enjoy gardening, exploring nature, traveling and playing footy with my son and spoiling my Cavoodle, Benji.
